Dreams

So me and jems were talking like we usually do, Zibudie Babbuhl, regaling past great games of halo2 or whatnot, doing comedy, general asshattery.

But suddenly I said:

"Jems, man, I had this fucked up dream, it was pretty crazy"
"tell me yours and i'll tell you mine"
"Yes"

So it goes like this:

Montreal had been infected by Zombies the Army had called in every trooper possible, and sent various members on rescue missions, oddly enough I was sent to Marymount Academy to check for any survivors, It went like any zombie movie, I drove to the back of Marymount in an Army Stryker pulled out my rifle, suited up and went in, obviously some people were infected, I killed them with grim dispatch, looking for my friends mainly, I found Jems:

"where the fuck is everybody?"
"I think Andrei is upstairs and Jono down the hall, both of them are hiding, the rest I don't know"
"alright, Jems, here's a pistol, shoot for the head and stay behind me"

We went down the hall to find Jono, he barracaded a door with a huge desk, smart of him I thought.

"Jono, get out of there, take one of my weapons, were gonna save everybody, have any idea where they might be?"
"last i heard they were down in the caf, hopefully they made it out better than the rest"
"yeah, I hope so too"
"Well, let's get going you two, you've been formally deputized as riflemen in the Canadian Armed forces, make your country proud, kick some ass."
"let's get Andrei from upstairs then head down the caf and go by the external staircase back to my stryker"

we went upstairs, touting my rifle and Jems/Jono both holding one of my many sidearms(I was armed in such a way so as to recruit other people to help me) we screamed

"Andrei! where are you?!"
*Bang* *Bang*

zombies kept dying.

"Andrei!"
"Brah!"
"Andrei? is that you!?"
*Brah as in saying yes*
"Where are you?!"
"In a locker Kyle"
"Jesus, andrei, okay give me a second"

I took my pistol out and shot the lock on the locker and sprung him out, handed him the pistol, and we retreated, barracaded the stairwell with a piece of wood and headed for the caf, the 4 of us now, we made a beeline, shot the lock from the caf doors, and on the stage a few tables were arranged in such a way as to create a perimeter.

"This is Specialist.Adam, Kyle Adam of the Canadian Forces, who's in charge any how many are you?"
"Kyle? it's me Seb! were about 7 people"
"About? I need to know Seb"
"yeah, 7 people"
"okay, were coming to you, don't shoot or anything if you have any sort of weapon"
"Okay."

I signalled Jems and Andrei to go around the right side and take their time, we don't know where they'll pop up,albeit slowly, we made it to the circle of tables.

"you've done a good job Seb, although, if they ever saw you, I doubt you could hold out, should have ran not knowing there was an escape vehicle for you coming, but nonetheless you did good work"

"But on to business, you've all been drafted in the Canadian Armed Forces Defense Initiative, I am to arm you, and were are to make our way to a militia base and receive further instruction, does anyone have a problem with that?"

I had no problems with the people, I don't remember everyone who was there, Seb, Pat, Kendall are the only ones who pop to my head, but there were 4 more people, whom I can't think of right now, but i'm sure it'll come to me.

and that's pretty much my dream, we escaped, and drove off to westmoun in the Stryker, lots of zombies died and it was generally a cool dream.

It sounds really dumb, but hell, it was cool as fonz.

A new gif!

I made a new gif based off of the amazing comic Achewood (props to Chris Onstad, you are a true genius)

I found the comic really cute, and well, funny as all hell, I laughed so much my ribs felt like they were cracking.

well, enough jibba-jabba, on with the content.

Injury Report

Yes, I am still very injured, I coughed up blood at about 2am, and I was taken to the E.R asap, got ot a doctor at 4am, looked me over again, he tells me it somehow "An act of god" and that I perhaps Sinned

But he did ask me if anything stressful has happened to me lately, and well, yes, something had, so he wrote that off as the most probable reason, it makes sense, and he gave me more apo-aproxyine or whatever it's called, suffice it to say, i'm not in any good condition.

what does this mean fair citizen?

I cannot do the Kyle Laugh.

my means of existance and ultimate expression are robbed from me, it is a sad day in the world of Zibbudie Babbuhl.

Resident Evil 4

God, for a long time, I have always said:

"I want to play Resident Evil 4"
"I'm gonna buy Resident Evil 4"
"Resident Evil 4 looks amazing"

I'm lazy though, so I never got to playing it...until tonight.

It was glorious, so very glorious.

The game is so atmospheric, it takes you into a spanish hamlet almost immediately, you are Leon, a former SWAT member turned agent for the U.S government, your mission is to save the president's daughter from a religious cult, known only as the "los illuminos" armed only with a 9mm handgun, you make your venture into unknown territory, you soon discover that all the civilians are ravenous, but still very intelligent, they attack you, and sudden;y, you are stuck, fighting 1-30 people at a time, using everything at your disposal to get out of it alive.

In fact, I remember the most memorable occasion, myself and one of the friendly characters "Luis" had to hole ourselves up in a small 2 floor house while the citizens of this hamlet were laying siege to us, breaking through windows, doors etc, in an attempt of intelligence, I pushed wall-units in front of windows to impede their progress, I pushed down ladders, and pumped shotgun round after shotgun round into merciless monsters.

The game is amazing.

Battle music for this game : Jems and me singing "Reading Rainbow"

Halo2 at 5 in the morning.

Yes, you heard me, myself and jemsy were up till the crack of dawn playing Halo2, neither of us were tired and I needed to think, suprisingly, we took house for most of the games, Jems and myself are starting to master the whole "2 of us sticking together all the time" when we both work together, we usually can't lose, even against a vastly superior force, so many times did we infiltrate the base, kill warthog's full of people, tanks and opposing forces, with a battle rifle, and jemsy's aim with a rocket launcher, albeit, he dissapeared once, when i faced a full gauss warthog down when he was supposed to support me, but he went around and killed all three of them later, took the flag, and ran pretty far, but they caught up with us.

Some really good games, especially for it being 5am, being stuck with most of the brits and odd gamers who eat unborn children, and taunt you constantly, it's a totally different game at 5am, it's like, the world shifts under your feet.

Best battle music ever: Rob Zombie - Dragula

What were listening to pt.3

You know the drill, in a vain attempt to make the world a better place, we share our music, it may not be glorious work, but damnit, somebody has to do it.

Royksopp - Circuit Breaker/Only This Moment/Boys
Royksopp is the Lord Jesus Christ in European form, there is truly nothing this band can do wrong, sorry to our christian readers, but get with the program, this "God" you worship, he can not spin a beat like Royksopp.

Aimee Mann - Save me/One
She has an amazing sound, a great sense of music and a perfect voice for her guitar playing, this music may not be new at all, but you know, if I haven't heard it before, it's new to me.

Hooverphonic - Inhaler
Hooverphonic is hard to define, it's very trip-hop with a big mix of electronica, suffice it to say, it kicks copious amounts of ass, in fact, I'll go so far as to say every little bit of music here kicks ass, so that goes witohut saying.

Massive Attack - Spying Glass/Better Things/Teardrop
Massive Attack essentially pioneered the Trip-Hop scene quite some time ago, they are still going strong, some of the greatest Trip-Hop has come from these people, may Royksopp bless them.

Pepe Deluxe - Just Let Go/A Moment in Black and White
Pepe Deluxe is probably one of the most uncommon bands around, it's really unfortunate, they sound amazing with every song, honestly, their whole album is perfect, not one bad song, quite a rarity these days.

I am done.

Majestic sound round and round and round glad you're next to me <3
